The Kangaroo Ground House, Kangaroo Ground (09/2011 - 09/2012)

A new single storey dwelling with water tanks and wastewater treatment system on a mildly sloping grassed site. The dwelling includes 4 Bedrooms with open Living, Dining, Kitchen and associated spaces.  A triple garage, store and generous decking have also been provided.  External materials include concrete rendered walls, compressed sheet with paint finish, timber cladding and ‘Dune’ Colorbond tray deck roof with ‘Monument’ Colorbond flashings.  The single storey design of the building is well articulated with material selection and placement enhancing the various elements within the overall building composition. The colours chosen are earthy, yet sleek and will be enhancing the connection between the dwelling and rural landscape.
