Lake House

The Lake House, Mallacoota, VIC (12/2009 - Designed)

The design was for a modern contemporary 2 storey and/or split level residential dwelling, on a moderate sloping site.  The design incorporated solar passive design principles; thought out orientation, eaves and glazing while simultaneously taking advantage of the wide ranging views over the Mallacoota Inlet and lakes.

A family home designed to allow the residents to be constantly connected to their coastal surroundings. The materials palette was chosen to have the dwelling sit well within the vegetation and complement the landscape.
