Surf Shack
Surf Shack, Angelsea (02/2011 - Designed)
Design for a Residential Dwelling on a sloping site. The large cantilevered deck at the east of the dwelling allowed residents to enjoy varying views of the site and beyond. The west deck provided a smaller insular entertaining area to be enjoyed in most weather conditions, with views through the Living spaces of the residence to the ocean.
The form of the building was well articulated with material selection and placement enhancing the various elements within the overall building composition. The colours chosen were earthy, yet sleek and would enhance the connection between the dwelling and the native garden surrounding.
