Wathaurong House
Wathaurong House, Aireys Inlet (08/2016 - 03/2018)
The building has been sculpted to enable the focus of the dwelling to be the large existing trees at the front and rear of the property. The form is well articulated and the colours and materials chosen enhance the buildings connection to the site.
Energy Efficiency: The proposal is oriented toward the North and East to make appropriate use of solar energy. The main Living areas all located to the North of the dwelling. The proposal also includes photovoltaic panels and solar evacuated tubes. Ample insulation and double glazing is also proposed throughout.
